I caught up with Naas Botha before the game on saturday – he had some pretty enlightening things to say about flyhalf play, and the Boks chances in the upcoming encounter.
The Boks made plenty of mistakes, which they admitted to afterward – but it was a great game to watch and although not really free scoring – a good start to a very tough tournament !

P.s #Guessthescore being sifted through – winner announced tomorrow !
Jeepers, talk about a lastminute, outsourced to do list!
My mate at 2oceansvibe, Seth Rotherham, has asked that I make sure he doesn’t miss the weekends Tri Nations game while he is on an “assignment” in LA (some people have the life).
I have done some digging and found, happily, that there is quite a healthy rugby population in Californeeah(sic), and they will be watching on (their Saturday morning) on Fox Sports, ESPN, and RugbyZone (live streaming).
- 90 % of the information came thru Twitter, thanks everyone !
Also, it’s probably on at on www.larugby.bar.htm and the Beverly Ramada on Wiltshire blvd.
I hope that’s all you need Seth !
Oh and enjoy the adoption (!!WTF!!)
Looking forward to seeing you and the weather girls, on your return.

Posted on 23. Jul, 2009 by Bob in Rugby, tri nations
your #guessthescore comp is gathering momentum – we even had a winner from Tokyo last week – his AB (sacrilege!) jersey is on it’s way.
Here is a video showing the brand new Springbok jumper that we have for the weekends game – the bookies are backing the boks and the heat is on for the home side to pick up a serious start to the Tri Nations – remember points mean prizes.
Go to twitter.com/bobskinstad – follow me and send me your score for the game – must be before kickoff !
Send or retweet this so we can head for the biggest #guessthescore competition in the world !
Had a quick catch up with Fleckie, and asked him about his take on the weekends game – the flyhalf debate and the nature of his hair – watch to the end if you can !
