It takes some people a life time of serious commitment to achieve the kind of conquests that Riaan Manser has gone and done already - he maintains he’s just a young, enthusiastic South African with a penchant for adventure - I love it and have asked him to come down to the Toad tonight (wed 12th) to chat to the eager and interested community about his travels – I will also do a little vid with Riaan which I will post here and will get a chance to answer questions which you can leave in the comments.
The good news is that he is a rugby nut and joined us all this weekend at Newlands to watch the Boks paste the Aussies !

I had the privilege of meeting and listening to Riaan speak in Durban a week or so back, and it was hugely inspiring…this man is a true legend of SA!

I had the privilege of playing rugby with Riaan at Helderberg Rugby Club in Strand – and you’re right, he is a passionate rugby dude… played a decent game at no.2!
I’m sure he’s gonna be an inspiration and good humour for all tonight!
